Calculators allow you to save values in memory, but are limited to a few values and require that you remember what is stored in memory. Calc Brain uses the standard Table list interface to describe and organize your memory values.
The basic free app will allow you to store up to 5 different values. You can purchase an additional feature that will allow you unlimited memory values. When you make the In-App purchase you will also get the ability to lock a value from modification, so you cannot accidentally add to it.
You can use stored values for various calculations that you often perform, such as calorie counting, games scores, or conversions.
Press on the Info icon to set up the options and to purchase the additional feature. Purchase requires a link to the App Store, so a prior purchase will avoid the troubles of not being able to save a value when you have no connection.
When you press m+ or m-, the current value will add or subtract to item you select in the table. You can select multiple items or add multiple times. Values that are locked will be grayed out and cannot be changed.
When you press mrc you can recall, delete, or edit entries. In edit mode, you can organize items, and select for modification. The lock mode is only available if you purchase the additional memory feature.
Use the tab bar on the bottom to select the current active Group. You can name the groups, and add as many as you want, but only four can be shown on the bar at a time.
For details on how to use the Groups click here.
